Deloris is caught between two competing paths...the glitzy world of 70's disco and the candle filled Queen of Angels convent. The chasing marquis lights and hazy beams of her showbiz persona dissolve into the subdued stained glass and flickering light of the Cathedral-until she glams it up. As the other sisters let loose with Deloris the stained glass glows brighter and more colorful, and some of those disco lights find their way into the clerestory. All until her gangster ex Curtis finds her at the Cathedral and all that color drains away.
