A paradise being polluted by a looming war-and budding romances polluted by inbred biases, South Pacific is a world of contrasts. Between beautiful sunsets and the stark glow of a light truck, or turquoise skies and the sickly bulb in the radio hut, South Pacific explores what we are born with, and what must be "carefully taught."
